Most of what helps is practical and unglamorous. If you have a couple of hours a week, an unopened pack of toiletries, an afternoon of food-rescue runs to Waste Not or Midwest Food Bank, or an hour of legal, financial, or trades knowledge — that's what we need. Skilled help is welcome any time. So is showing up.
