Mesa, Arizona · Safe Transitional Housing

The Olive Press

A safe place to land. We provide transitional housing, life-skills education, and recovery support for adults experiencing homelessness who are survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, sex trafficking, or substance abuse.

About the Olive Press

The Olive Press is an Arizona 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 81-0848123) operating a Mesa-based safe-housing program out of 720 S Mesa Drive. Our work centers on adults rebuilding their lives after experiences of homelessness, domestic violence, sexual assault, sex trafficking, and substance abuse — circumstances that demand more than just a roof. They demand stability, dignity, and a community that believes recovery is possible.

We pair transitional housing with practical life-skills education and ongoing recovery support, walking alongside each resident as they take the next step forward. Our program is listed in Mesa-area shelter directories including 211 Arizona and Lighthouse Social Services, and we maintain transparent reporting through GuideStar and Charity Navigator.

What we do

Recovery is rarely a straight line. Our programs are designed to meet survivors where they are and provide what each stage of healing actually requires.

Safe Transitional Housing

A secure, stable home base for adults exiting homelessness, abuse, or trafficking — giving residents the breathing room to heal and plan their next steps.

Life-Skills Education

Practical training in budgeting, employment readiness, healthy relationships, and daily living — the foundations residents need to sustain independence after our program.

Recovery Support

Ongoing, trauma-informed support for residents recovering from substance abuse and the long-term effects of violence, with referrals to professional clinical services as needed.

Survivor-Centered Community

A consistent, respectful community of staff and peers — because long-term recovery from trauma is built on trustworthy relationships, not just programs.
